We are a private sector Indian Shipyard on River Hoogly, engaged in designing and construction of various types of seagoing, coastal, riverine, inland and harbour crafts. 20 years back we started with construction of pontoons, gangways and barges. Since then we have upgraded our products to various propelled vessels like passenger ferries, vehicle ferries, survey vessels, pilot launches, patrol crafts, tugs, coastal research vessels, dredgers etc. We are now building naval vessels, fast patrol launches and tourist cruise vessels, all reasonably sophisticated crafts. Our ships are built to rules and surveys of Classification Societies. Our other activities include ship repair and ship operations and occasional consultancy on special jobs.
KEY FEATURES
Technical Competence: We are a team of technopreneurs, having Naval Architects, Marine Engineers, Mechanical Engineers & Civil Engineers in the top management. At the floor level we have a number of young Diploma Engineers. Above all we have some of the best shipbuilding workers in India. We also have long term business associates, having proven capabilities in electrical engineering and electronics, steel fabrication, machinery installation and commissioning, plumbing, launching of crafts, casting & forging, precision machining, ventilation and air conditioning etc.
Research & Development: Cost cutting through aggressive design and innovativeness is the basis of our competitiveness. We believe in R & D, albeit we cannot afford it in large scale. The products and processes evolving from such R & D have been our business differentiator with many other shipyards. We use the knowledge base for the benefit of our clients.

Quality Assurance: To cater to this industry demand, we have our in house QA Cell to ensure that all our new builds go through a quality process. Our ships are invariably built under inspection surveys of IACS members like Indian Register of Shipping, Lloyds Register of Shipping and American Bureau of Shipping. For naval constructions we meet, over and above Classification Society rule requirements, the stringent standards of Warship Overseeing Team (WOT) of Indian Navy and Quality Assurance Cell of the premier public sector defence shipyard of India, viz., Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. We
are in the process of obtaining ISO9001and IRQS Certification.
Delivery Commitments: At the root of our client steadiness lies our reputation for timely delivery. We have never been penalized till date for delay in delivery.
Prompt after sales service: We have ensured that every client gets prompt after sales service, even when, at times, the client demands do transgress contractual reason. Through such prompt after sales service, we have also counter guaranteed client allegiance.
